A recently completed project by our subsidiary in Hungary shows how modern charging and changing solutions can make the day-to-day work of an international retailer considerably more efficient and reliable.
Two turnkey battery changing stations were installed in a logistics warehouse 10 km from Budapest in autumn 2024: More than 150 HOPPECKE trak | charger HF premium as well as 2 trak | Xchange PU in the first charging station and 78 trak | charger HF premium and 4 trak | Xchange TU change trolleys in the second charging station ensure that batteries can be changed quickly and ergonomically - without employees on site having to bend down or lift heavy loads during the change.
The result: safer and more efficient use of the industrial trucks. This is because the batteries can be changed in just a few steps.
Another highlight of the project: the modular charging racks, which were specially developed for the customer's use. They can be extended both vertically and horizontally and adapt flexibly to the spatial conditions. This is because the frame supports can be adjusted every 5 cm.
On top of this comes the trak | monitor system, which enables remote monitoring of the batteries. This means that the battery status can be checked at any time. If problems or error messages occur, the system automatically notifies the customer by e-mail and/or SMS. In short: an ideal solution for proactive maintenance.
